Job Summary/Objective: This position performs various administrative and human resources-related duties at the tactile level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, training, benefits administration and program management.

Reports To: Program Manager/Assistant HR Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Primary Functions - Recruiting (60%)
  • Solicits and screens resumes; interviews candidates; administers assessment; orders background checks; recommends hire/not hire; delivers offer or rejection
  • Submit MSRs tracking monthly open positions and submissions
  • Track all requests and submissions for monthly status reports
  • Coordinate with new hires information about hiring steps including administrative paperwork, badging questions, and pre-service training
  • Coordinate with prime contracting's recruiting team to collect, document, and submit candidates for open requisitions
  • Maintain and update shared recruiting documents including interviews and email templates, procedures, labor categories, etc.
Secondary Functions – HR Policy & Program Management (40%)
  • Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Administer all benefit plans and respond to benefit questions
  • Support payroll processing and respond to payroll questions
  • Conduct or provide information for annual benefits compliance and agency reporting including EEO1, 1095, Medicare D, 125 Non Discrimination Testing
  • Ensure all employee information is current

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.
Local travel to various worksites is required, up to 10%
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Two years of experience in Recruiting or Human Resources. 
  • Familiar with recruiting practices, HR software’s and benefits administration
  • Ability to speak a second language (Spanish or French) is desirable
  • Experience working in a diverse/multicultural environment is desirable but not required
  • Strong skills in planning, organizing, attention to detail, written and oral communication
